To say we were disappointed with Mark Riggle's performance is an understatement. We bought a home and sold a home with his team. In the sale of our home, we both felt that Mark was so busy with his other customers that he did not take the time to discuss potential offers with us but just sent them to us and notified us of them. Once we received the offer, we had to do most of the question asking to find out what things meant and he did not ONCE point out potential problems or give us advice on what we should be concerned about on it and instead was more of a YES man or paper pusher and only wanted us to accept it and sign. This resulted in us entering into a bad deal the first time which fell through and made our listing look like it was on the market longer. The second deal was a VA loan and he didn't seem to know much about those which again resulted in more problems with the offer we had quickly accepted based on him telling us that everything on it was "customary". After we had accepted it, we were stuck with paying the buyers closing costs ($7200) which COULD have been negotiated among other things (I found this out after I took it upon myself to call the VA Loan office and ask questions). Our biggest problem is he did NOT negotiate for us. When it came to advocating for US, he would instead try to smooth it out by sending a nice email instead of addressing our issues directly which was very frustrating because the buyers Realtor was constantly sending him emails for us about their dissatisfaction or wanting something else like an early move in. When they requested an early move in Mark just forwarded us the request and NEVER even bothered to warn us about what a HUGE mistake that is to let the buyer move in before closing. By the end of the deal Mark would barely talk to us or respond to us on the phone because we had both called him out on his inattentiveness to all of the problems we had. It was like he was more busy with his Million dollar listings so a listing at $255,000 wasn't worth his attention. We strongly felt Mark should have been more involved in discussing the offers and advocating to protect us but instead he tied up the sale of our home from March to July and did little except collect his commission. We would NEVER recommend him to anyone.
